We're the UK's Best Upmarket Garden Store

News, The Garden

We're delighted to have been named the UK’s Best Upmarket Garden Store by the Telegraph newspaper. For the second year running, we topped the national newspaper’s poll with gardening writer Val Bourne describing our rural showrooms as “a hidden Worcestershire secret”. “Owners Edward and Diana Holloway have been selling style and quality for 35 years," she added.

Val highlighted the renowned Holloways Garden Antiques collection of statuary, urns, troughs and architectural salvage. And praised the quality of locally-sourced, seasonal food served in our award-winning farm-to-fork café, the Glasshouse. “The yard is full of antiques, snapped up by top designers,” she said. “And their Hereford cattle provide top-rate food.”

She picked out our Chedworth Deluxe Recliners set, which includes two loungers, two footstools and a ceramic-topped side table, ideal for keeping snacks and drinks within reach. "Adjust your backrest, put your feet up and get comfortable," Val wrote.

For three decades, Holloways has been a destination lifestyle store, retailing exceptional living, dining and garden furniture to discerning customers across the UK, online and from the showrooms. The business has grown considerably since the early days of Holloways, and now boasts a professional interior design service and Neptune partner store with a gift shop and on-site hair and beauty salon.

“We’re thrilled to have been recognised by the Telegraph for the second year in a row,” said Diana Holloway. “It’s testament to the quality of the products we sell, our fabulous staff and the exceptional standard of locally-sourced, seasonal food in the Glasshouse that we’ve once again achieved national recognition. It’s a huge honour. We’re incredibly proud of the accolade, and absolutely delighted for the whole team.”
