Our Story

Holloways living room furniture

We've been supplying luxury furniture to discerning customers for more than 35 years. A family-owned, family-run business, every piece we sell, from sofas to dining tables, outdoor living collections to conservatory sets, home office furniture to accessories, is designed to help you make your house a home, to grow with you and to bring you joy for years.

Your home is where our heart is.

Thirty-five years ago, Edward and Diana Holloway converted the old hop kilns on their family farm in Suckley, deep in the Worcestershire countryside, to create their interior design and antiques business. Three decades on, Holloways is a nationally-renowned furniture retailer, supplying homeowners and leading interior and garden designers with exceptional indoor and outdoor furniture and garden antiques.

Where tractors once brought in the hop harvest to be picked and dried in the old brick drying sheds, the historic hop yard is now home to the Holloways Garden Antiques courtyards. Brimming with antique statuary, contemporary sculpture, fascinating architectural salvage and terracotta pots and planters of every shape and size, it is a treasure trove for collectors and gardeners alike.

The restored drying sheds and machinery house now house Holloways beautiful furniture showrooms, gift shop and Interior Design Studio. Here, you'll discover two floors of inspirational room sets filled with luxury living, dining and conservatory and garden room furniture and accessories. All against the backdrop of the old, red brick walls and carefully-preserved industrial features.

Holloways showrooms

The old greenhouses, once a plant nursery, have been redeveloped into a dazzling, two-storey, glass-fronted furniture and outdoor living showroom – a huge solar installation on the roof offsetting more than 10 tons of C02 each year, the equivalent to the planting of 500 trees.

Today, this Gallery Showroom is home to a Neptune store-in-store, showcasing a carefully-curated selection of furniture and accessories by this great British brand, and Hair & Beauty at Holloways, our on-site hair, beauty and aesthetics salon.

Named with a nod to its horticultural past, the award-winning Glasshouse restaurant, with breathtaking views across to the Suckley Hills, serves modern British dishes at breakfast, lunch and for afternoon tea.

And while the business has grown way beyond the old farm and hop yards, the family farm is still the beating heart of Holloways, with a pedigree herd of Hereford cattle which provide exceptional beef for our restaurant, arable fields, wild flower meadows and miles of walks to explore incorporating a stunning section of the Worcestershire Way.

Holloways is a stone's throw from the Cathedral city of Worcester and the Malvern Hills AONB, and just a half-hour scenic drive from Junction 7 of the M5 motorway.
