These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website and by accessing this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions you will not be able to place an order.

For delivery charges to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Eire, The Channel Islands, Isle of Wight and other offshore islands, please call our customer service team for an exact quotation. If you live overseas we can arrange shipping to anywhere in the world – or we are very happy for you to arrange your own shipping.

Express Online

We will endeavour to deliver Express Online orders within two weeks. In certain circumstances beyond our control this may not always be possible. Please be aware this particularly applies to deliveries in Scotland and Cornwall.


In the unlikely event of any of our products being faulty, a repair or replacement will be offered and in some circumstances a full refund will be given. Returns, cancellations or exchanges of non-faulty items may be given at Holloways discretion. In such circumstances reasonable charges may be made to cover transport and any unrecoverable costs. Returns should be made within 3 days.

Orders to be shipped overseas

If your order is to be delivered outside mainland United Kingdom we recommend that you take out insurance to cover returning goods to Holloways. In the unlikely event that our products are found faulty, free of charge repair or replacement of the goods will be offered as usual, however we will expect the customer’s own insurance to cover transport costs. Holloways will not be able to offer collection or re-delivery outside mainland UK.


We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. All prices include VAT at the current rate. 


Dimensions in all cases are approximate. There are likely to be slight variations from the sizes indicated as most furniture is hand made.

Colour reproduction and matching

Please note that colours are as accurate as printing and photography allow. We endeavour to display the colours of our products that appear on the website as accurately as possible. However we cannot guarantee that your computer's display will accurately reflect the colour of the product. Furniture made from natural materials may vary in colour. We will match the colour of fabrics to the samples chosen as accurately as possible within an order, but variations may occur. Please do not assume that goods ordered at different times will match exactly as most items will have batch colour variations.

Online orders

Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website however some prices/details may change from time to time and it is possible that an error may occur. We will correct any errors as swiftly as possible but we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred. We reserve the right to refuse any order placed by using our website.

We will send an order acknowledgement email to you detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation nor order acceptance. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

  1. The product you ordered being unavailable from stock.

  2. Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment.

  3. The identification of a pricing or product description error.

  4. You providing incorrect personal information.

  5. Delivery costs not being agreed.

When your order has been accepted an order confirmation will be sent to you by email or post, if you prefer.

Use of our website

We use cookies to keep track of your current shopping session to personalise your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping basket during the duration of the session.

Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of this website is done at your own discretion and risk. You will be solely responsible for any damage to your own computer systems or loss of data that results from the download of such materials.

Personal Information and Security

You agree that the personal information you are required to provide when you place an order as a customer is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects. You agree to notify us immediately of any changes to your personal information by contacting our customer service department, calling us on 01886 884665 between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, or by email using the Contact Us form on our website. You agree to your information being kept on Holloways systems for Holloways sole use, and in accordance with data protection legislation. We do not pass your personal information to third parties unless you have ticked the box on the order or contact form requesting information about blinds. In that instance, we will pass your contact details to Appeal Home Shading who may contact you by post, telephone or email, regarding your enquiry and latest offers and products. Contact Appeal Home Shading to unsubscribe at any time.

If you do not wish to receive further marketing information from Holloways please contact our customer service department between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, on 01886 884665 or by using our Contact Us form.

The payment of your online order is handled by a Payment Services Provider, Sagepay. This is a secure service using encryption and your credit/debit card details will not be seen or held by Holloways.

Care of your furniture

Our advice on the care of your furniture can be found in the help and advice section of our website. Holloways cannot be held responsible for damage caused by cleaning, maintenance or use that did not follow these guidelines. Do not assume that if a dry clean only label is not present that cushions covers can be washed at home. Contact our staff for advice on cleaning fabrics. Natural materials and fabrics will be affected by the environment in a conservatory and we recommend roof blinds to reduce this.

The above does not affect your statutory rights. These Terms and Conditions of Trading are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
