SEASONAL MENUS

Each month, our chefs create new Glasshouse menus which celebrate the very best of the season. Here on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire border, we're lucky to be surrounded by some of the finest food and drink producers in the region and are proud to champion their award-winning ingredients in our breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea menus.

THE KITCHEN GARDEN AND HOME FARM

Our menus are a celebration of the season: what's at its best in the kitchen garden; home-grown beef from the Holloways home farm, and the seasonal bounty of the hedgerows and woods surrounding our showrooms. At the heart of the kitchen garden is a productive polytunnel supplying the Glasshouse kitchen with culinary treasures year-round. In summer, heritage salad crops, juicy tomatoes, Swiss chard and courgettes are in abundance. Autumn brings beetroot and root vegetables, while the hedgerows yield plums and blackberries. Winter offers sloes, picked after the first frost and used in puddings and our own sloe gin, while the raised beds are bursting with leeks and kale. In spring, we forage the banks of the brook for wild garlic, which we turn into delicious pestos, soups and sauces.

On the farm, our pedigree herd of Herefords overwinter in airy barns. Come spring, the mothers and their calves are turned out on the rich pastures surrounding our showrooms. The meat from these magnificent beasts is always front and centre of our menus, from delicious burgers to hearty pies and full-of-flavour summer salads.

LUNCH MENU

We serve our signature Glasshouse lunches, including our own Hereford herd beef, fish dishes, seasonal salads and savoury Glasshouse tarts from noon to 3pm. Don't forget to leave room for one of our fabulous puddings. Daily specials are often available, from fish and meat dishes to seasonal salads.
