The frame, which is subjected to testing well in excess of normal domestic use, is made from selected hardwoods with glued and screwed joints. The seat is supported by high tensile serpentine steel springs with a deep, soft, fibre-wrapped cushion, while the high, supported back cushion has a high quality, blown fibre filling in a Corovin case.
